Description and operation

Definitive Ecology’s compactor machine is composed of a U-shaped trough made of stainless steel equipped with a shaftless spiral. The machine features three sections: feed, transport and compaction. Excess water is removed from the incoming product by the drainage screen, which is located in the feeding zone. The product transported by the screw reaches the compaction zone screen basket and is then discharged from the outlet, which is equipped with a cover with contrast spring. The discharged liquid is transferred to the outlet together with the liquid drained at the inlet. The machine, which is designed for intermittent duty, can be used in all applications calling for compaction/dewatering of solids.
